Dermal Fillers

RESTORE. REFINE. REBALANCE.

Dermal fillers can be used to restore volume, refine facial contours and create subtle changes in proportion and balance.

At MAGY, filler isn’t about adding volume everywhere. It’s about understanding your anatomy, identifying where treatment may be useful, and knowing when adding volume isn’t the answer.

Dermal Fillers Benefits

Overview

Filler Should Have A Reason.

Our faces naturally change over time. Bone structure, fat compartments, skin and other supporting tissues all evolve—and those changes can affect facial shape, contours and proportions.

Dermal fillers allow us to selectively restore or add volume where it can make a meaningful difference.

For some clients, that means restoring support that has changed over time. For others, it’s refining a feature or creating better balance between existing features. Often, it’s a little of both.

The goal isn’t simply more volume. It’s understanding
where volume belongs, how much is appropriate, and whether filler is the right treatment in the first place.

What Can Dermal Filler Treat?

Restore. Refine. Balance.

Dermal filler can be used across different areas of the face depending on your anatomy and treatment goals.

Lips

Add subtle volume, improve definition or shape, and create better balance between the upper and lower lip.

Chin

Refine chin projection, shape and proportion to create better balance within the facial profile.

Cheeks + Midface

Restore or refine midface volume and contour, including changes related to facial volume loss.

Jaw

Add structure and definition to selected areas of the jawline where appropriate.

How Dermal Fillers Work

Volume, Placed With Purpose.

The dermal fillers used at MAGY are made with hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally present within the body.

When strategically placed within different tissue planes, hyaluronic acid fillers can provide volume, support, contour or subtle refinement depending on the product selected and the treatment area.

Where a filler is placed, how much is used and the properties of the product itself all influence the result.

This is why filler treatment starts with anatomy—not a predetermined number of syringes.

Facial Balancing

The Face Works As A Whole.

It’s easy to focus on the feature we notice most. But changing one area can influence how we perceive everything around it.

That’s why we assess facial proportions as a whole rather than treating individual features in isolation.

Chin projection can influence how the nose and jawline are perceived. Midface structure can affect the appearance of the lower face. Lip shape and volume need to make sense within the proportions of the surrounding features.

This doesn’t mean every feature needs treatment.

Often, the most considered plan is the one that identifies
where a small change can make a difference—and where nothing needs to be added at all.

Our Products

The Right Product For The Right Purpose.

MAGY works with a selected range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, including products from Restylane®, STYLAGE®, Revanesse® and Teoxane.

Different fillers behave differently within the tissue. Their rheological properties—including factors such as firmness, flexibility and cohesivity—help determine how a product integrates, moves and provides support once placed.

Product selection is therefore based on more than a brand name. We consider your individual anatomy, tissue characteristics, the area being treated and the result we’re trying to achieve, then choose the product best suited to that purpose.

The product is one part of the plan. How, where and why it’s used matters just as much.

What To Expect

Your Treatment, From Assessment To Result.

Every filler treatment begins with an assessment.

We’ll talk about what you’re noticing, what you’d like to change—or maintain—and any previous filler or aesthetic treatments you’ve had.

From there, we’ll assess your facial anatomy, proportions, tissue characteristics and movement to determine whether filler is appropriate and where treatment may be most useful.

If you’ve had filler before, understanding
what was treated, what product was used and what you liked or didn’t like about the result can help inform the next plan.

During Treatment

Depending on the treatment area and plan, filler may be administered using a needle, cannula or a combination of techniques.

Treatment time varies based on the areas being treated. Your provider will walk you through the plan before beginning.

After Treatment

Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common after dermal filler and vary considerably depending on the treatment area and individual.

Some results are visible immediately, but what you see immediately after treatment is not necessarily the final result. Swelling needs time to settle and the product needs time to integrate within the tissue.

Your provider will review aftercare, expected recovery and anything specific to your treatment before you leave.

Follow-Up

When appropriate, follow-up allows us to assess the result after the initial swelling has settled and determine whether any further treatment is warranted.

We prefer to build results gradually rather than trying to accomplish everything in a single appointment. This allows us to assess how the tissue responds, use the least amount of product needed to achieve the desired result, and avoid adding volume unnecessarily.

A measured approach can also help minimize treatment-related risks and unnecessary product accumulation over time, while making treatment more cost-effective by focusing on what is actually needed.

Results

The Best Filler Doesn't Announce Itself.

The goal of dermal filler at MAGY is not to make someone look “filled.”

Results depend on the area treated, product selected, amount used, your anatomy and what we’re trying to accomplish.

Some changes can be immediately noticeable, while others are deliberately subtle. Longevity also varies considerably between products, treatment areas and individuals, so we don’t apply one expected timeline to every filler treatment.

Over time, hyaluronic acid filler is gradually broken down by the body. Maintenance is individualized based on how your treatment evolves—not a predetermined schedule.

Who It's For

Sometimes Filler Is The Answer. Sometimes It Isn't.

Dermal filler may be appropriate if you’re looking to restore volume, refine a particular feature or improve facial balance without surgery.

But not every concern that looks like a volume problem needs more volume.

Skin laxity, tissue descent, muscle activity, skin quality, existing filler and underlying anatomy can all influence what you’re seeing. In some cases, another treatment—or no treatment at all—may make more sense.

Consultation is particularly important if you’ve had multiple previous filler treatments, aren’t sure what products are already present, or feel that an area has become heavier or fuller over time.

Our job isn’t to find somewhere to put filler. It’s to determine whether filler will actually help.

The MAGY Approach

Good Results Should Make Sense Now– And Over Time.

Good filler treatment starts with knowing what you’re trying to accomplish.

We consider your anatomy, facial proportions, tissue characteristics, movement and existing volume before deciding where—or whether—to treat.

We also think beyond the appointment in front of us. Filler can accumulate, facial anatomy continues to change, and a treatment that made sense several years ago may not be what your face needs today.

That can mean using less product, building a result gradually, changing the treatment plan, allowing existing filler to settle or dissolve over time, or recommending something else entirely.

We want the treatment to make sense when you look at the whole face—not just the area that was injected.

Looking like yourself is the point.

Frequently Asked Questions

MAGY Skin and Health Clinic

Start With What You Want From Your Treatment.

Whether filler is new to you, something you’ve had for years, or you’re simply not sure whether it’s the right treatment, every plan starts with understanding what you’re hoping to change.

We’ll assess your anatomy, talk through previous treatments and your preferences, and determine what makes sense from there.

You don’t need to know which filler, how many syringes or even exactly which area needs treatment before you arrive.

That’s what the consultation is for.

Lower Face
Strategic treatment may help restore support or soften certain contours around the lower face.
Nasolabial Folds + Marionette Area
In appropriately selected clients, filler may be used to soften folds or restore support in the surrounding areas.
Temples
Restore volume where temporal hollowing has developed.
Under-Eye Area
In carefully selected clients, filler may be considered for certain types of under-eye hollowing. This area requires particularly careful assessment, and filler is not appropriate for every under-eye concern.
Facial Balancing
Sometimes the concern isn't one feature in isolation. Small, strategic changes to proportion or projection can help create better balance between facial features.
