Eve Skin Analysis
THERE'S MORE TO YOUR SKIN THAN WHAT YOU CAN SEE.
EVE Skin Analysis gives us a closer look at what’s happening on—and beneath—the surface of your skin. Using advanced imaging and quantitative analysis, it helps us better understand your skin today, build a more informed treatment plan, and track how it changes over time.
Overview
A Closer Look at Your Skin.
We can learn a lot about your skin by looking at it. EVE helps us take that assessment one step further.
Using specialized imaging, EVE captures and analyzes different characteristics of the skin that aren’t always easily appreciated with the naked eye. The result is a more detailed picture of your complexion, including areas of pigmentation, redness, texture, pores and other visible and underlying skin characteristics.
And, admittedly, it’s pretty fun to see what’s actually going on beneath the surface.
How It Works
From What We See To What We Can Measure.
EVE uses standardized facial photography and different imaging modes to capture detailed images of the skin.
The software then uses advanced AI algorithms to analyze specific skin characteristics and translate what it sees into quantitative information that can be reviewed alongside your clinical assessment.
The technology is informed by a database of more than 10 million images labeled according to dermatologist standards, helping EVE recognize and quantify patterns across a wide range of skin characteristics. The result is an objective layer of data that complements what we can see clinically—and helps us better understand, plan for and track changes in your skin over time.
Why does that matter?
A traditional skin assessment is largely qualitative: we look at your skin, listen to your concerns and assess what we see and feel.
EVE adds a quantitative layer by giving us measurable information that can be documented and compared over time.
Neither replaces the other. Together, they give us a more complete picture.
What We Can Look At: Skin Quality + Facial Structure
EVE evaluates more than the surface of your skin. It also creates a topographic map of your facial features, allowing us to objectively assess proportions, contours and symmetry alongside skin health.
Skin analysis includes:
- Pigmentation and uneven tone
- Redness and vascular changes
- Sun-related damage
- Texture and pore visibility
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Overall skin quality over time
Topographic facial analysis can help assess:
- Facial symmetry
- Volume loss and hollowness
- Contour and projection
- Relative facial proportions
- Linear measurements between key facial landmarks
- Objective before-and-after changes following treatment
The measurements don’t define beauty—they simply give us another objective way to understand your anatomy and document change over time.
Treatment Planning
A Plan Built on Observation & Measurement
Great aesthetic treatment starts with understanding the face as a whole.
During your consultation, we combine traditional clinical assessment with EVE’s quantitative imaging to evaluate both skin quality and facial structure. The software allows us to measure symmetry, identify areas of volume loss or hollowness, and compare facial proportions using standardized landmarks—all while documenting your baseline for future comparison.
This information helps guide thoughtful treatment planning for concerns such as skin rejuvenation, collagen stimulation and facial balancing. It also gives us a more objective way to track subtle improvements over time.
The technology doesn’t tell us what to treat. It helps us make more informed decisions about if, where, and how to treat.
Tracking Your Skin
Before + After, With a Little More Data
Skin changes gradually, which can make progress surprisingly difficult to judge day to day.
Standardized imaging allows us to document your starting point and compare your skin over time. Alongside traditional photography and clinical assessment, EVE can help us evaluate how your skin is responding to a treatment plan and whether that plan should stay the course or evolve.
It’s particularly useful when we’re working toward longer-term goals involving pigmentation, redness, texture or overall skin quality.
The MAGY Approach
Technology Informs The Plan. It Doesn't Make It.
We love good technology. We also know that skin can’t be reduced to a score.
At MAGY, EVE is one part of a broader assessment. We combine imaging and quantitative analysis with clinical evaluation, your skin history, lifestyle and—most importantly—what actually matters to you.
Sometimes the scan confirms exactly what we expected. Sometimes it shows us something we couldn’t easily see. Either way, it gives us a useful starting point for a more informed conversation about your skin.
Looking like yourself is the point.

No. EVE is an assessment and imaging tool. It helps us better understand your skin, plan appropriate treatments or skincare, and monitor changes over time.
Yes. Different imaging modes can highlight characteristics that may be subtle or less apparent under normal lighting, including certain patterns of pigmentation and redness. Your provider will review the images with you and explain what's relevant.
A qualitative assessment relies on professional observation, your history and what you tell us about your skin. Quantitative analysis adds measurable information generated from standardized imaging.
We use both. The technology provides data; your provider provides the clinical context.
Not by itself—and we wouldn't want it to.
EVE provides additional information that helps guide your consultation. Treatment recommendations are made by your provider after considering the imaging alongside your concerns, history, skin assessment and goals.
Yes. This is one of our favourite ways to use EVE. Standardized imaging gives us a consistent reference point so we can compare changes throughout your treatment or skincare plan.
Not necessarily. EVE can also be useful as a baseline for someone interested in understanding their skin better, taking a preventative approach, or simply getting a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface.
